Dr. Michael Curtis, D.M.D., is the founder, editor, and president of Hundreds of Pearls. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978, where he received several scholarships and awards. He then completed 2 years of residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and Montifiore Hospital in New York.

During his 30 years in clinical practice, Dr. Curtis has been a "major CE junkie." He has "tried or ordered just about everything out there" and "made every mistake in the book" while building a highly successful, multi-specialty practice in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Over the years, Dr. Curtis has seen dentists grow increasingly confused and frustrated with the avalanche of magazines, mail, and ads for expensive courses, services, and products.

In response, he has developed numerous practice resources, invented several dental products, and assembled 100s of "pearls" for greater efficiency, profitability, and enhanced clinical quality—found nowhere else.

Dr. Curtis has been a member of the ADA, AGD, and various other dental organizations. He has served as an instructor at University of Connecticut and New York University Schools of Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys laughing, sports, music, and travel. He is married with 3 children.
